Love this place. It's classic and cozy and the food is very good. We dined on a Wednesday evening and it was somewhat busy, but not overly so. The Whiskey Jam Burger was perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive and the hostess friendly and professional. We had a great experience here and plan to return.
This very old hotel and bistro serves up great food with good service. The service staff was a bit "stretched" while we were there but to their credit, they kept up. The food was good, the only minus was a little "oversalting" on the salmon. The portions were large and pricing was modest which contributed to the overall sense of real value for price.
Great food, great atmosphere! Excellent bar-style restaurant that serves excellent food. The Salmon Ceasar was delicious. The Lettuce Wraps were tasty. And the Fish Tacos were savory! Plating was good with reasonable serving size. Very friendly staff.
I had a wonderful meal at Bistro St. Michael in Prescott and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food with a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant’s historic charm, paired with friendly and attentive service, made for a fantastic dining experience. The Biscuits and Gravy was cooked perfectly and packed with delicious flavors. The portions were just right. Beyond the food, the location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown Prescott, inside the historic St. Michael Hotel. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it’s a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal while soaking in the charm of Whiskey Row. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Prescott!
Staying in town for a couple of days and had breakfast this morning at Bistro St. Michael. We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant is beautifully preserved. Rich wood and brick. The menu is exceptional. Great selection. I had the corned beef hash and my wife had the eggs Benedict. Both were well prepared. Prices are reasonable. Pics attached.
If you visit Prescott and skip this place, you’re missing out on some of the best food in town. We had dinner here and every bite was incredible. The grilled wild salmon was cooked perfectly, and the barbecue plate was absolutely next level — and that’s coming from someone who’s traveled all over the South eating great BBQ. Somehow, this place topped them all. And the cornbread? Honestly, calling it cornbread doesn’t do it justice. It was more like a rich, buttery cornbread bread pudding… ridiculously good. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
We really enjoyed our waitress today. We had the tomato artichoke soup and brisket. Benedict that was delicious.. we wanted to eat some french fries and such but unfortunate. It’s another restaurant that only cooks in seed oils. Something is changing to make these places more healthier. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Teagan was tending to us and she seriously made us the BEST espresso martinis we have ever had. (I’m 36 so I’ve had my fair share.) The wings and burger were delicious as well! My fiancé ordered his medium well and it came out beautifully!! We will def come back again. This was our favorite stop in Prescott so far.
We were delighted to learn the building the restaurant is located in was rebuilt in 1901 and the flooring and ceiling are all original material. The service was outstanding and the food delicious! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the Ruben. It was really great to hear they smoke their pork and make the pastrami right there. Highly recommended!
We ate here several times during our stay at the Hotel St. Michael as it was conveniently located and consistently delicious. It became a nice part of our morning routine in Prescott. Solid breakfast options as well as great fare for the rest of the day. On Friday, being a Catholic, I actually had a veggie burger on two separate visits. The restaurant itself is really cool, having been around for well over a century, and the staff is amazing. Can't go wrong at the Bistro.
